Unlike County Council and District Councillors, Town and Parish Councillors do not generally receive remuneration for the work they do or for the meetings they attend.
Seaton Town Council supports this policy and there is therefore currently no provision in Seaton Town Council’s budget for such remuneration, although there is provision to reimburse any necessary expenses incurred by councillors.
